N. C. C. become functional in Kalol college in 1970 with Shri K.K.Patel,as Second lieutenant the unit in-charge.

Admission is given on the basis of Physical fitness, height,weight and general aptitude by subedar, Major and NCU on behalf of the N. C. C.

The cadets had worked for earthquake relief camp at civil hospital, Ahmedabad and also offered services under employees insurance scheme while observing patients

B.A.O.U. (Dr. Babasaheb ambedkar Open University)

The College has started B.A.O.U. in 2005 with different subjects at U.G. & P.G. Levels. College has also applied for various carrier oriented programmed as a bridge courses for the financial benefit and increasing job oriented effeciancies of students from village region.

The overall passing ratio is 89 to 90 %.

Library

The College has computerized library with the 30 seating capacity. The Library has spent 3 Lacks for the purchase in last 5 year for making library as a learning resource. There are 18 wooden cupboards, 22 steel cupboards, 9 tube lights, 8 fans and 1 computer.

The Library has done several book fairs.

The Library has nearest 34,000 books, 2000 volumes. In which 15,000 reference books and 33 journals are available. The library is open from 8.30 am to 2.30 p.m.

Sports

The College has big sports ground for cricket, vollyball, KhoKho, Kabaddi, Handball, etc. The college has enough instruments for sports. Our Kabaddi girls team has won runners up title in Gujarat University South Zone. Some students were selected for University events.
